Mine arrived yesterday; half of them are damaged - weight punched out at one end and loose parts in the boxes.  Posting this here to see if anyone else has a similar experience with these.  Have contacted them to ask for replacements so hopefully they can make it right for me.

Ouch. I got the email to pay for my order over the weekend, so I expect my dozen will be here this week.  This does damper my enthusiasm a bit to open that package.

Does Rapido actually sell to dealers or are they all direct sales like I did?

Yes.

Certainly all the shops around here are well stocked with Rapido.

Availability of Rapido in hobby shops in the US appears to be much different than it is in Canada.

That would be more of an issue with the shop choosing to stock it.

Happy to report that my direct from mfg order just arrived, and as near as I can tell through all the bubble wrap, there is absolutely no damage when shipped by Rapido.  Beautiful cars....I can't wait to build my refinery to host them.

That is good news; mine have the weight sticking out of one end with the end cap and attached parts taken out, and the weight is glued in that position - very strange.  Wondering if they were assembled, went straight into the cases and then received an impact before the glue holding the weight had dried.

I have sent an email to Rapido and will give them the opportunity to fix it for me; disappointing as I was really looking forward to these cars.

This is actually a feature, not a bug.....

To enhance realism every model was subjected to 100% prototypical slack action.

Rapido answered my plea for help and authorized a warranty return, so mine are now on their way back to Ontario for replacement.  So far so good.

All I got was this lump of coal...  Waiting for my OPDX LHS to call to say mine are ready for pick up.  Since COVID hit, I have been trying to frequent the LHS as much as possible and buy something when I do but they're not the most N scale proactive.
Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.

These finally landed at MBK (MTS).

Picked up two for my 1975 layout (currently vaporware).
