Hello,
I'am Sven from Germany. I interested in narrow gauge stuff. That's why I build on a scale of 1/120 (TTe) the Saxony narrow gauge (my home railroad's) and than i build the Colorado Narrow Gauge in N Scale.
My first projeckt was a C-25 from the D&RGW, I'm currently designing one K-27 in Nn3.

The only issue I noticed on the overhead shot was the cab looked like it was mounted crooked, but I suspect that has been corrected.

The cab was already installed correctly, just the roof was only layed on at this point so that it looks slightly crooked .

The project startet in march 2020, that was during the first lockdown among germany. The original intention was, to try out an easy gear construction and also to try out the accuracity of the CNC machine at my workplace. I did the compete construction on my own, there are only some few parts, that I bought, but even on those parts, I did little changes (break hose, generator and converted wheels).
 
The inner frame is milled by CNC, the boiler is printed in FXD by Shapeways and covered with etched parts. I glued plumb on the inner side of the boiler for the weight. All casting parts are made by Shapeways. The mainrod is printed in steel. The side rodes, outside frame and cranks are milled by me with CNC. The other parts are mainly nickel silver and brass etched parts.
 
The Gear reduction is 1:30.
 
The lok itself got approximately 1,6 mm too bright among the piston and 0,6 mm too bright among the cab, so that the measures are equivalent with a K-37, I already changed the measurements for coming loks, so that the measurements become more proportional.

Bringing together all the parts is in fact a little complicated, so I did some improvements to make it easier to solder.
 
The K-27 will become very proportional.

Knowing that the model is probably auto 95% made by you using various techniques makes it that much more incredible!  The CAD drawing you showed looks just like something you woudl see on a designer's screen at one of the "real" model RR manufacturers!  It must be really nice to have those skills and tools at your disposal for your hobbies.  I'm jealous, in a nice way.
