I'll try that next time Brian.I put a light coat of road weathering on the PA's; I'm going to call them done for the time being.
Sunnyvale, CA "Victoria Station" is now a Vietnamese Phở restaurant:https://www.google.com/maps/@37.3376509,-122.0154618,3a,75y,339.43h,85.67t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1szgjoAkXIkK6Wiio_G9ypzQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
While this wasn't the lowlight of the trip, this was somewhat heartbreaking to see. This is the remains of the crazy thing that was Canal St.[/size]https://www.google.com/maps/@39.9647143,-75.1349781,3a,75y,186.65h,92.37t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sLvo0oaSzKtrpti3_6wX1Uw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192
I was working from home today, I mean for the last few months, but I digress. Anyway, I glanced over at my Diorama and noticed the sunlight.I'm not really sure what is going on with the forum's photo uploading, but the picture was tack sharp until I uploaded it.
That GN car, is it a kitbash or scratch built?
It's essentially a scratch build, detailed in an article I wrote, published in the Jan-Feb 2001 issue of N Scale Magazine.
@wazzou - is there an article somewhere on what you did to make the NP single sheathed car in front of the GN car? I'm arguing with myself over whether that is a heavily modified 1970s era shell with a bunch of new parts, or maybe a Fowler kit from one of our friends north of the border with steel ends, or entirely scratchbuilt. And kudos on ladder shadows. Whatever you did, nice contrast to the USRA cars that manufacturers are so fond of.Well done on both cars.
