I have a bent side rod. Is there somebody you can recommend to repair my steam loco?

If it were me, I would just bend it back into place while it is off of the model, which would require taking the valve gear off. Key supplied a hex-driver to remove them, but if you are not comfortable with doing the repair yourself, then I'm sure someone here can help. Could you provide a picture of how bad the bend is? Do you know how it developed the bend (did the mechanism bind and bend the rod with it?). Anything you can tell us will assist us in helping you fix it. Usually went a steam locomotive bends it's own valve gear, there was too much play in it to begin with. You very likely can bend it back in place with only a few tools and a little pressure.
