Thinking about this for quite a while, and knowing the stimulus check was coming... well look what arrived at dinner time last night

Should be a fun day of play as I get to know this!

It is the Photon S.   It is now performing the standard "test cube" print - I'm about 6% through, only another 4 hours and 50 minutes to go!

sweet :)    I finally unboxed my Photon the other day.

Why is SO satisfying to print that first test print? lol

So, yesterday (Thursday) was the first day of my adventure. Spent most of the morning just getting to know the unit, upgrading firmware, and leveling. Once that was done, started a 5.5 hour print job of the Anycubic Photon lattice cube. Well, it was MOSTLY okay, but there was a failure in one corner and one of the interior banners.  My leveling wasn’t up to snuff (close, but no cigar). Did try some exposure test prints, which worked pretty well.

Today (Friday) started out with a full clean and relevel. Did a couple of the short exposure prints, and things looked much better. Then tried some parts I designed (basically the same speaker enclosures that @Lemosteam just released per my styrene enclosures for Atlas GP7/9s). Well, the morning run showed me the importance of proper supports! But a good learning experience.

After lunch: SUCCESS!  Got the supports on the leading edge correct, and 6 usable enclosures were printed.  I think I am going to like this new toy

Good print still on build plate

Separated and cured

The final cleanup of the support nubs was done subsequent to the photo

@RBrodzinsky , Please measure the part against the 3d model for accuracy.  Wall thickness speaker opening, etc. One for my curiosity, ant two so the print works as designed.   You may find print bloom and excess cured resin to be an issue for the fit of the speaker.  The interior cavity really does not matter all that much but the outside dimensions might especially on the bottom.

Width:   Print 8.92mm   Actual  8.99mm
Height:  Print 4.47mm   Actual  4.55mm
Length (overall):  Print 23.495mm  Actual 23.64mm
Length (rear - low):  Print 17.145mm  Actual 17.30mm
Height (porch):  Print 2.20mm  Actual  2.25mm
Wall:   Print: 0.45mm  Actual 0.45 - 0.51mm (depending where I measure)

Some of the variations may be due to my not getting all the support nubs sanded perfectly flat.   I don't expect much bottom "bloom" since these were printed at a 45 degree angle, with the leading edge 5mm above the build plate (the leading edge is the short bottom edge at the rear, under the speaker opening.  Speaker opening is a bit tight, so I will probably widen a bit.

Enclosures fit in shell and on rear of locos without a problem.

Excellent.  how do the speakers fit in the enclosure?

Just a tad tight on the width (8mm).  I might widen the box, just a bit, for future runs.  The length is spot on
