Having spent enough time in smoke filled rooms in my life time, I understand the look you are going for.  However, do you think that given the small space you're working with the effect will be noticeable enough to justify the effort it would require?  By the way I really like what you've done with it, especially considering it's N scale.  I'm sure I/we would just be blown away to see what you could do in a larger scale.

Personally, I don’t think you need to add any smoke effects to complete the scene. Maybe some John Coltrane playing softly... but that’s about it. The “candles” on the tables complete the visual scene for me.

Impressive!
I wish I could shrink myself to 1:160 scale, and visit the place in person.

The fan speed is now also much better than the original design.

Is the flicker built into the LED or it is that black pack on the leads?
