Walthers Mainline with ESU sound

I recently purchased a HO scale Walthers GP-9 with an ESU sound decoder. This is a new release from last month. Does anyone know what version decoder is installed in these? I am unable to find any reference on the Walthers site or on the ESU site. The manual that came with the loco only refers to it as ESU digital sound. As usual, the paper manual has minimal CVs listed and would like the full list.

Thanks!
Jon

These are the Essential Sound Unit decoders, not a full bore LokSound.  The sounds are fixed to what is loaded, and there is a lot less customization one can do.  I have never seen any good documentation on these - not even sure if Dave Heap has finished a DecoderPro definition for it.

Thanks, Rick. Just based on the price, I knew it wasn't going to the premium line but it would be nice to have a full list of CVs.

I was comfortable making the purchase just because it had ESU. It runs slow and butter smooth at speed step 1 in both directions.
