No, the thread title doesn't refer to me.

Had a great time Wednesday with my two brothers, chasing UP 4014 from Owatonna to north of Northfield on its run to St. Paul. (A few thousand other people also attended.  :D)

Also got a few minutes of great video of the engine pulling into town and also running at speed through the countryside. Will post as soon as I find time to set up a youTube channel. (Is there any other way of sharing video here?)

Our own Spookshow (Mark) captured it in Hope.  I hope that @spookshow  doesn't mind me linking to his photo here.

BTW, he is doing a great job modeling Hope in N scale. Unlike most model rairoads loosely depicting some locale, he is actually duplicating the individual buildings, one by one.  He  is doing some amazing work!  See http://spookshow.net/layout6.html . That is a one long blog, but I recommend at  least skimming through *ALL* the chapters.

ALL of Spookshow's stuff is worth reading. Not just informative, but very entertaining. Great sense of humor.

Here's the 4014 arriving in Owatonna.

Absolutely!  A great source of N scale reference information.

We hustled about six miles down the line, and arrived in Medford just in time to catch a glimpse.

Then on to Northfield, where we caught the train on the south end of town.

And finally, a few miles north of Northfield.
