I've spent the past few months mostly modeling in the virtual world.  I finally brought some of it into the physical world and am excited to announce the next few products for CG N Scale!

Twin Cities Model Railroad Museum swap meet was this Saturday at the Fairgrounds, always a good time. Found some goodies even when I walked in not planning to buy much (always trouble!) @Mark W 's Dry Bulk trailers were being sold by the nice folk at Spring Creek Hobbies, so had to pick one up. Also saw his Nebraska Central cabooses. First time I've seen Spring Creek up here, lots of good products and good people too. Had no real plans for buying but sure found a lot there.  :scared:

That afternoon we railfanned Westminster Junction in Saint Paul, saw this bad boy on the way out:

Naturally missed the money shot of the unit heading over the lift bridge

This would be an update from 3 weeks ago, but finally a @tom mann orginal GP-30 is in running condition. The motor was burned out, but even a motor swap (motor courtesy of @chessie system fan ) resulted in unsatisfactory running, think it needs some serious tweaking and new chassis machine screws. Finally found a donor GP-30 and did a total mech swap, and she runs! Of course the number is totally wrong for my era but such is life, it's a work of art anyway :ashat:

Still have @diezmon 's SD-10 to fix (as weathered by Tom Mann, as damaged by USPS) but after taking a few years to get around to this one, I expect that project to be done in late 2023  :scared:

"Gotta be a 40 percent grade ,"

Or a drone photo?

For the Golden Spike ceremonies, our local paper, the (Ashland, KY) Daily Independent, had a nice article, with color photos, on page 2 Monday.  Nothing on the Big Boy, but most readers wouldn't know 4014 from a Big Boy Restaurant.

Extra list invite from Jim Hertzog for last Saturday's ops session.  One move was helper service (double header) for a pair of T-1's up Locust Summit and back to Gordon.
