First of the twelve Thomas Kinkade cars. Woo-hoo!

Pre-orders being accepted for the new TBOX cars as four different 3-packs - two TTX versions, plus CSX and CN.

There is a Milwaukee Road weathered express boxcar in UP colors.  I don't remember an unweathered version of this car.  Did I miss something (which is pretty likely)?
Best regards,

Roger

The NP car (20300) was built in 1931-32 according to the drawing I found, not 1937 like the MT description says.

But it does look like they got the bracing right and the diagonals across the corners on the sides.
It looks high on the trucks, but that's to be expected for an MT car.

I can't see the roof in the photo, though.  I don't suppose the roof is rounded (i.e. "radial roof") is it?   Please?    :)

I'm waiting for the John Singer Sargant portrait train.

Which ever side of the track I am on is the right side.

It appears to be a "direct to weathered" release.

I'm waiting for the John Singer Sargant portrait train.
Either that or his painting of "Sheepfold In The Tirol" as an exclusive Railwire release.

Unfortunately, due to technical problems, the painter of light artwork will remain dark.  :(

@Shipsure ,

I don't know how much you're tracking this sort of thing, but Micro Trains' HOn3 stuff sells for premium on eBay...  There's very much still a demand for it.  You guys did the steel underframe C&S prototype stuff...a gon, a reefer, and a flatcar.  Why did MTL pull the plug on what was starting to be a great product line?  That you went C&S meant you were not competing with, but complimenting, the Blackstone Rio Grande stuff.

I--for one--would love to see you do the C&S steel underframe boxcar as so many of them ended up on the RGS after 1938.  Or the C&S stock car.  Is this even a possibility?

Yes, it does help, and unfortunately, I can see that it is the same wood-sided outside braced car
that they have always had.  It's a nicely detailed car.  If only the roof could be easily removed and
changed.

More fooby Husky-Stacks.  At least that won't detract from my ability to pay for the kodachrome SW1500 which is a must-have for me.   The guy I pre-ordered it from is out of business.
