Will make a nice double, complete with US40 and the Cumberland and Pennsylvania grade passing underneath.

Damn you.  I was going to just use Atlas stone arches as a cheater.  But that bridge was a true work of art.

I have to figure out photo lower the river a bit and still have some structural integrity for the modules.
I'll probably make the whole base out of 1/4" plywood instead of 1/2"

I look forward to seeing how 1/4 plywood does.  That's one thing keeping me back from doing the Indian Creek Viaduct.

I'm going to put some structural bits above the surface to make the land forms.  Hopefully I can put enough on to stabilize it.
Also toying with making the scene up as two singles, splitting the center pier of the main bridge.

Maybe @PiperguyUMD can print me some bridge sides that match the Kato geometry so the truss bridge looks "right"...

I'm trying to remember which of our local 3D gurus was working on this, but wasn't someone designing this style of highway bridge for print?
Any chance of obtaining about 8" of that guard rail (4" on each side) for my selectively compressed bridge across the creek just north of the C&P arch bridge?.

I've got a piece of leftover vinyl plank flooring, 12x24 that's about 3/16" thick.  Extremely stable, with a rubberized bottom surface.  I can still build the structural elements on the top surface (things like the leveling screw pockets and abutting frames) but that should give me pretty good clearance to increase the depth of the river bed, and still keep the track level at the appropriate 2.75" 

I'll be adding a bit of material to get the standard dimensions of a double front to back, but there's plenty to get the width.
The tile is a bit on the heavy side, but given its low profile, that will help keep the center of gravity in a good place to keep it stable in an installation.  I'll add leveling screws at the center of it to keep it from bowing down.

To make sure my scenery bonds to it, I'll scuff the surface with some 80 grit sandpaper to give it some tooth.

Low profile leveling feet...  an experiment.
I'm looking for a way to put leveling screws on a TTrak module that is basically flat.  This is what I've come up with.



I started with an adjustable chair glide.  Basically a flat foot with a threaded post that screws into a nylon keeper.



I drilled a 3/4" rabbit to receive the foot, and a 3/8" hole to catch the keeper.



I added a washer to the top to serve as a spacer.


I'd like to figure out a way for the feet to be adjustable from the top, but this design allows for about a /4" of play, so I think it will be adequate.

I'm assuming the missing number is a 1?  1/4" may not be enough of an adjustment depending on the type of tables.  I've seen situations where it wasn't.
