I would rather not glue the tanks and HUMVEEs to the flat cars ..  what are you guys doing to keep them from falling off the cars?

John I am out of N Scale and not considering moving back to it after starting in HOn3 however my wife gave me a small plastic container years ago from her doll house furniture collection. This product is called Mini-Hold and is used to hold doll house plates, knives and lamps etc to tables and the like. It is also used to hold pictures to walls. It might be worth trying. I believe it is easily removable. It was made by Handcraft Designs, inc Hatfield.PA.
Trust this is of some help.

You guys need to model a couple without tracks. I caught some heading north from Yermo.

Fun Tak!  You can get it at Staples too.  One pack will last many generations when using in N-Scale portions.  :D

Yes, but I'm claiming a memory lapse... I'll work on some photos of the pre-paint items, most looked pretty nice.

@jj3 Did you ever get these?

Sometimes this hobby can get quite expensive

Why many of us choose to not model mainlines and modern equipment.

That's an optimistically priced tank, one for which the data entry was completed by an individual more enthusiastic than knowledgeable or detail-oriented...

Had to look up Aritec, looks like their out of Amsterdam.

More photos of the Abrams on their site:
https://www.artitecshop.com/en/m1a1-abrams-desert-n-train-load.html

It's such a rollercoster of a model.  Some of the details are very good, like tracks, hull accessories, and cargo.  But then the skirts are (almost) completely smooth, paint is cracking, and that's some very sloppy glue work.

The MTL Abrams + CGNscale Detail kit runs about $12 per tank, but requires assembly and painting.  This one is $22 per tank, ready to run.  Seems like a pretty normal split of time vs money.

Obviously manufactured under government DOD no-bid contract... just like the real thing. 😀
