Those look really sweet!  I’m getting stuck on the amount of time the tie-downs are taking me to install. I have over a dozen flat cars worth of tanks ready to go but the tie downs...argh!

who makes the resin kits?

They were the Deluxe Innovations ones.  I bought twelve of them for a rainy day. I think they were leftovers from one of their military sets. That’s all there was. I also have a couple of the GHQ Abrams. Really sweet models. I put them on the N Scale Kits flats.  I’ll post a picture later.

Here’s some progress shots of some stuff I’m almost done with.  The first is a stock micro trains flat with two tanks, I painted the tanks, hit them with a wash and dry brushed them.  I’m finally done with the tiedowns on this one. The next is a GHQ tank on an N scale Kits flat car. And the third is two N scale Kits Flat cars that I just finished decals but haven’t done trucks or couplers. In the background is some of the loads, many of them need to visit the paint shop

Looks very nice! Makes me want more tanks, but alas the budget committee won't allow for it.

@jj3 Very nice work on the tanks and cars!  Love the paint, weathering and detailing...looks really good!

But...sorry...I gotta say it...then I saw them on unpainted Kato Unitrack...and the irony of it just up and slapped me across the face!

Before anyone gets trigger-happy, those are 1:285 models, not the 1:160 versions.

Kinda stinks that GHQ's 1:285 versions look better than Micro-Trains 1:220 offering.

OK, have to ask...  I see a bunch of M1As, an M551, an M108/M109, some M113s, and what looks like an M60.  What's next to it? It looks like an M60 hull and a different turret.

I play 15mm (1/100), 6mm (1/285), and 28mm (1/56) WW2, Vietnam, and modern armored warfare; about as much $$$ as some of you have in a layout in tanks.  Just added 6mm Coastal Patrol boats (Higgins/Elco PTs, Vosper MTB, S-Boots)  It's an addiction

Uh oh, I thouht they were both M-60’s, just different versions. I have very little knowledge of the different versions, and I can prove it! On a related note, does anyone know of any flat cars which would be period correct for WW 2 German armor. I went a little nuts on shapeways and bought enough tanks for about a dozen flatcars...

You need to look for Era II and Deutsche Reichsbahn. Try the Arnold 0497  40 FootFlat car which is a very good start.

I think it's the angle, but looking at it again it's probably an M60A1.  The A3 turret is a little beefier and the A2 Starship is thin and would have had a MUCH shorter barrel.

Well it took me longer than I expected but I got one flat car done with two tanks. Thanks to Mark W for the track upgrade and parts. Chains are from Deluxe Innovations military sets.
