Possible new project BR55 box

Looking to add variety to my FGE box fleet, I came across this:

Plug door and roof from an Athearn NACC box. Sides from an MDC/Athearn PS-1 with weld lines replaced with Archer rivets. The 4-4 Dreadnought ends? Maybe use the ends from a RC beer car lowered to the proper height? (I believe these are plate B cars).

Might be a good candidate for another resin production.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away

Sounds interesting.  If you are looking for more RBL’s for your Conrail fleet, the most obvious choices are ESM’s X58 and X65.  While Penn Central did not have any insulated X65’s, the Lehigh Valley did.  Conrail placed the insulated ex LV X65’s into class BL55B.  I would consider picking up an X65, stripping it and decalling a BL55B.  The number series you want is CR 360704 - 360753.  They are right after the ex LV X58's: CR 360664 - 360703.  Also, Wheels of Time has announced the PCF rib side plug door cars a few months ago.  There are some more CR RBL's to spice things up (ex PC MDT leased cars).  I like the sound of the BR55, but the work involved would be substantial for a few cars.  Thanks.

Jeff

See here for some BL55B's:
