Pictures from 2018 N-Scale Weekend, Altoona, PA

Here are a few that I took.  Unlike last year, with over 500 pictures, this year was a bust with less than 100.    The idiot driving the car (me) realized half way there that the big Nikon was left at home!  Yeah, I had the tripod, the monopod and even a few lenses but no camera!  People were giving me crap at the show, like one of my arms were missing. 

But in the end I figured a way.  I ended up using my Samsung Galaxy S7.  I'm not a fan for phone cameras but I must admit it's not bad.  I've included some rail fanning pictures that we did after the show Saturday night.  It was primo spot with all rails leading to and from Horseshoe Curve.

I shot video of the New Jersey Southern layout at Altoona, which I uploaded to YouTube on the club's channel. There are some Railwire trains in the video, so be sure to look out for those!
