Did a bit of research this afternoon.  Not definitive by any means.  But a list of roads that had RPOs with windows similar to the Atlas model.  Most have photos on the Passenger Car Photo site.  I've included notes on major differences, but may have missed 4 wheel trucks in some cases.  Each will have other road specific details.

Corrections and additions welcome and edits will be shown in red

ATSF (4 wheel trucks, need to add sill, prototype does not have belt rail- see Drasko's comments in earlier in this thread)
B&O  (class H-11)
C&O  (110-112)
CNW
C&A/GM&O  (photos I found had modernized windows, but 6 window pattern- seems reasonable that as delivered would resemble Atlas car)
CBQ (2330 and 2341 and I assume others)
FEC  (photos in Speedway to Sunshine book)
L&N
NH   (see Brian Bussey comments earlier in the thread)
N&W  (4 wheel trucks, #s 90-98)(generally similar, but different roof- low arched.  In Railway Post Office History book)
Southern (4 wheel trucks)

I wonder how long we have to wait for the NH green paint scheme.

Maybe some of you have discovered this, but the window "glazing" is not glued in, but held in place with double-sided tape. Shirt collar plastic accurately describes the material used for window glazing. It can be removed fairly easily with a fresh #11 blade slid between glazing and body. You need to do a bit at a time, and keep the separated glazing from sticking back to the body. Bestine may help, not sure if it would affect the clarity though.

I hope Atlas make those thin, flexible "drain" pipes available as a replacement part, as I'm sure many of us will break them at some point.

Well, that sure is a good news!  So they simply used some what the hobbyists call old-school "acetate" (some form of polyethylene or maybe polystyrene). That can be replaced with any clear material.

Trying to remember what thread had the guy with a laser cutter making window inserts for passenger cars.  These new Atlas cars seem like a ripe market for him (or anybody else who is interested in making and selling them.

My CNW 5-car set arrived Down Under this morning - very nicely done and no problems with rolling quality.

I took out my WoT 65-foot Arched roof Express Car to see how the rolling qualities of the more expensive product compared with the Atlas product. (It's been sitting in its box since I bought it several years ago and has never been on the track).

Amusing :D

My three cars (RPO, Obs, and Baggage) arrived yesterday. Considering these are the "Trainman" line, I'm very pleased with them. The RPO will become a stand-in for an ATSF car (with 4-wheel trucks), the obs fodder for a 400 class Superintendent car (anyone interested in doing side overlays?) and the Baggage is a respectable C&NW car pretty much as is. Mine rolls okay and the paint and lettering are crisp. Metal wheels, thinner stirrups and a few additional details would make this an excellent model; as it is it's pretty nice, see pic. And, it didn't set me back forty bucks :D

I got a few cars to have around for kit bashing.  I've opened the baggage and coach so far and the bodies are bowed.

I wish I knew enough about injection molding to understand why we still get products like this.  Not sure if they are even usable for a kit bash.   :|

Bummer, I'm sorry to hear that!
I went back and opened mine, and they are thankfully straight. So it's either a quality control issue, or they got exposed to some heat somewhere along the way??
Hope you can get them exchanged...

Try flipping the body end for end. They do go on only one way. (at least what was my experience earlier) Make sure the "glazing" is flush on the interior also.
