Otto,

This one is a bit of a story. I started with a Wheels of Time baggage in which I scratch built some new doors.  Gregg Scott at GHQ promptly took it off my hands and took it to the next level by redoing the roof and completely rebuilding the underbody to make it a truss rod car.  Our friend Joe Valerio then cast it in resin and Michael Livingston did the decals.  I finally got it back and finished it.  The NP had both truss rod versions and steel center sill versions.  I will be building a couple more.  Thanks.

Since we're discussing NP, here's an American Model Builders kit...

I’m not here to argue

This week's work on my business car for the Provincial Museum Train included the fabrication and installation of centre sills, diaphragm plates and cross-members, thus completing the basic Pullman Plan 3521 underframe:

With friends like those helping out one can do miracles!  Very nice!
Looks like Michael still has his and uses his trusty Alps printer.  And speaking of Gregg, I wonder if he will ever re-release any of his wonderful N scale castings or produce some men N scale models?

I finished up the Walthers Glacier Gravel as a stand-in for Bittinger's loadout on the Hanover Sub.  Open house layout tours this weekend !

Nice!  While not the main subject of the photo, the ICHABOD hopper is looking good!  :)

Is that a Wooten fire box on that WM decapod?  I did not know that WM had any hard coal burners.  It did have some oil burning Pacifics that ran into Hillen St, in Baltimore, but I was not aware of any hard coal burners.

That, along with the 2 boxcars in front of it are from the MT Ichabod weathered/graffiti set, so they changed the roadname to TCIX I believe.  I need to get around to relettering it so it's correct.  Oy, another project on the list

I am not dead I swear. Not that anyone cared anyway.

But I have been tinkering with my G scale stuff lately so yeah.
Did some work on my USAT GP38-2. I ordered SD70MAC Mirrors, A cut lever bar, and ditch lights to modernize this KCS Geep.
I am trying to get it as close as I possibly can to the prototype, which may take time...  :scared:

http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=4019405

I bent the 70MAC cut lever bar to better match the one on the prototype and I like how it looks, will need to be painted black however.

I will repaint the mirrors as soon as I can find a matching red paint lol.

I have to modify the pilot to add the Ditch lights so I need to figure out how I am going to do that still. That and the plow not plow thing KCS has on that Geep...

If anyone can do decals I could really use the right KCS logo that is on the prototype as well as the cabs sides...

So I figured I'd show some progress.
