The WC build 50 of these beasts in 2002 and many are still in service today. They are primarily kept in captive service in Northern Wisconsin. As they are home made they have a few variations.

CSX PRR Heritage ES44
I reserved this years ago and pretty much forgot about it until I got an email that it had been shipped to me.
Pretty unit but the lettering is kinda small and gets hidden by the handrails.
Wonder if Fox Valley will do a replacement shell to match the lettering on their NS PRR replacement shell?

These things can pull!
12' string of triple hoppers up a 2+% grade with 2 engines.

I spent yesterday at my blasting cabinet, it is shaped like the under side of a 1968 VW package tray... Got sand in my ears, sand everywhere  :scared:

Maybe wrap it in thin plastic sheet before trying again? The plastic bags from dry cleaners are thin and workable.
