For those like me , maybe I am the last one left that never heard if T-Trak , http://www.t-trak.org/Fine job Sir .
Agreed on the GP35's! The paint and decal work is top notch! Regarding the numberboards, they look good to me. However, since there is some recess present, you could potentially dress them up more by installing "glass" over the top on them. I've done this by carefully cutting clear acetate to size so they will mostly press-fit in place, filling any edge seams or gaps with tiny amounts of Krystal Klear or similar applied on the end of, say, some .008" wire. I've also simply applied a layer of Krystal Klear in the opening by itself to form the glass but you can sometimes get some surface irregularities with this method (that said, I have several locos where I used this method and it looks fine).
Thanks Russ, Albert and Allen.Great idea on the acetate. I did try to fill the opening with Krystal Klear to get the glass look. These numberboards actually pressed in pretty far so there wasn't much space left. Maybe another coat may be in order. I've always admired your models as well, hopefully I captured the SP feel of these.Doug
