I know you're following the prototype image, but the detail guy in me wants to see at least a little brick chimney poking out the top... it would immediately dissuade anyone from thinking you accidently left a wad of green dryer lint on your layout.
Then you could add another touch of whimsey by installing a rusty TV aerial on the chimney... and maybe a vulture... which could be an indication of dear Allen's ultimate fate...
And being a materials hoarder, I'd have carved the superstructure out of a chunk of foam... There's enough styrene under there to build an entire N scale village!!
I dig! Having access to jobsites where crawl spaces get foam insulation panels, I have access to all the foam I can eat for the asking. The crawl is usually 32" deep, and the panels are 48, so I have a stack of 16" x 8' foam panels come into my life every now and again.Let me know if you need something larger than a #10 envelope!Lee
I love that we're having an in depth discussion of trash can colors.I agree, the selected color scheme looks perfect.
When you always go with the lowest bidder there’s typically plenty of variety!
