So I thought I posted a update last week but guess it didnt post

Got a new Paint booth for my birthday. I swapped out the 45db fan for a 16db PC fan I had, moves a little less air but the noise reduction is nice.

After @Ed Kapuscinski and @Philip H visited I decided to start/finish the Fascia

I started out using 2 rattle cans of black to paint the 12 Pieces of Fascia for the layout

After letting that dry I mounted the pieces to the Ply with 3/4".I drilled a pilot hole for the screws to avoid splitting any of the plywood then secured the plastic with #10 Wood screws with Finishing washers.

Next was marking out all the track lines with a pencil. After that I remounted it to the fascia and drilled all the holes.

After removing the fascia

Then actually taping 1/4" Yellow vinyl to cover the pencil lines cutting out where it crossed one of the switch holes.

Completed section mounted again

For the switch holes I drilled a 1/4" Pilot followed by a 5/8" Spade bit. I marked the spade bit with some tape so I only drilled 1/2" into the ply/styrene

The switch can then be mounted in the hole and not be exposed outside of the fascia.

I also ran some electrical so I now have an outlet above the layout and no longer have the tripping hazard power chord on the floor.

Oh I`m Also debating Painting the switch holes Yellow or Black.

I thought the Yellow would help them stand out but would like to hear some suggestions!

The cat wishes to raise some concerns regarding the venting arrangements for the spray booth.

That looks great.

Paint the holes black so the silver switches stand out.

If you have the space, since a 2" diameter hole is required, there are recessed switch mounting plates available:

Black holes

Sounds better than yellow holes

This, although anodized aluminum would look much nicer.  Are there painted versions?

Or these, which you can get in any diameter, just need to drill a hole in the bottom.  There is a 1.5" x 1/2 inch deep version.

@Lemosteam only issue I see is that I have to order 300 of those :(

@Point353 I can't go up to a 2" hole and is would mess up all of my track lines.

But I really like both of those options if only I can find something to fit. But looks like I'll Paint it black

Finished wiring up the first of 6 Modules.
I *should* be done sitting under it and tightening screws.

Here's a view of the wiring with it all done
Green is for switch machines
Blue/Orange are Mains
Brown is sidings
Pure White is Frog Power

Here's the front view. I have some vinyl tape that shrinked after being applied so I have to fix a few spots and paint the switch areas black but for now I love that I can throw the switches and watch my turnouts move.
