Beautiful... just needs a set of 9400's on a train of Caravan, Reimer, and CN pigs
I haven't checked in here for a few months. I am blown away!
You need to do a road trip and bring those 9400s
Don't forget about Imperial Roadways puptainers! Not too many speeds west of Edmonton back in the 80s. 217/218 and 201/202, everything else was 400s,700s and 800s. Later on there was the first doublestack and it was pure Evergreen. 1990 I think.
202 was the autorack train. It started in New Westminster with autos from the SRY connection at Lulu Island. It was quite a sight watching those autoracks creak and groan as they came off the wooden bridge and made a hard left, with the SRY yard engines running flat out, while a trio of 9400s waited nearby. All within a stones throw of dozens of highrise condos that lined the waterfront. And it happened in daylight.
The Railwire is not your personal army.
