@mcjaco I'll have to dremil some of those pockets to make it wider once summer's humidity arrives. But God bless him for testing his mental limit on that field. I was giving myself mini-migraines just thinking about how to do a scene like that before I came across the Busch product.

Almost done with Bellevue yard. The track is all glues into place and soldered with Bull Frog turn out controls just needing to be wired and control rods ordered. Tomorrow, I'll solder the remaining track together along with cutting rail and PC board ties in the middle to separate the two modules. The holes in the styrofoam at the bottom right is some surgery I had to do. I guess I didn't put enough weight on the foam board when I first glues it, so I drilled some hole and injected liquid nails.



Connecting the two yard modules are dowels that will help align the X,Y,Z axes, since connecting all that yard track, which is at a slight angle and not straight-on, was going to be a major headache.

@seusscaboose maybe, I haven't been able to find the add-on kit on eBay. Either I buy another ADM kit or modify the medusa cement kit. Right now, I'll wait until I'm at the scenery stage before I put in more silos.

I have a set of ADM silos sitting in a cabinet doing nothing.  Has the head house attached too.  Seams are OK, should be able to putty and sand smooth.

Thank you @mu26aeh, I may take you up on your offer. I've been working like crazy cutting rail and putting buildings together today. I may just leave it with one set of silos, since anymore and they would be too close to the roundhouse. I'll pull the two yard modules apart tomorrow to get a better look at the left section in the photo. I'm working in a tight space so it's hard for me to get a look at how the yard would look to the outside of the module. I'll be operating it from the inside and want to make sure that when I exhibit it, people can be entertained by switching operations and swapping locomotives/cabooses.

I've been on a structure building craze for the past couple of weeks, so I thought I'd share here some of the buildings that make up my layout.

First are the buildings that will be placed on the Route 20 underpass module. This is the AYA Enterprise Wildwood house. It's a real beautiful kit to put together, and reminds me of the architecture models I would see during my college days at Kent State.



The next building is a grocery store that will be put next to Wheeling Tower area. It's named after a friend of mine who grew up near the NKP in Bellevue.



The next series of structures is near the engine terminal. The ash conveyor and water tanks and columns are Walthers, and the coaling tower is from N Scale Architect.



The last structure is the ice house. I need to give this a good black wash to show all the soot and cinders that was flying around the yard.

The coaling tower could be hard to find. I don't know if it's out of production, but I've only been able to find it on ebay. I have a few more house and garages that I'll put together today.

that reminds me... are you modeling any of the houses "behind" the Roundhouse (kinda parallel to the depot)

Hmmm, that must of been before the new roundhouse area in the late 1940s. I don't think the new roundhouse had any through tracks that lead to other parts of the yard. As for the houses in that area, I will have a service road cross the PRR and into the engine house area. I have this house already built (http://www.laserartstructures.com/laserart-structures/numeric-lists/n_images/drayton_n.jpg) and it should fit between the layout edge and the PRR on that service road.
