I purchased some vehicles years ago when you had about a dozen or so offerings; revisiting this thread now I am amazed at what you have accomplished!

I see you have released a 1970-1972 Ford Maverick; any chance of a 1975 version which had different bumpers?

Geoff:  I have been meaning to place an order so maybe we can combine to save postage?

Tim, which body style 75 Maverick are you interested in?

Good Morning:

Here is the car I need to replicate in N Scale:

I am working on a diorama for the NMRA's Achievement Program and the prototype photograph I am working from was taken by my friend Ross Pugsley in 1977.  At that time he was driving the car in the photograph supplied above.  I cant quite tell if it is a four door model (as opposed to your earlier two door model) as Ross is standing in front of what would be the rear door, but this car also has large bumpers than yours.  I want to place a photographer and this car in the scene to show where the prototype photograph was taken from, and also as a tribute to my friend who took and supplied so many wonderful photographs of the railway I model.  I realize that you have to source a larger model of this vehicle and scale it down, but I would love to have one if it were possible!

I would also love to have a model of the 1970s era Honda Civic hatchback which were everywhere during this time.  There is a yellow one in this photograph taken by Ross at the location I am modelling:

In addition to being an iconic car from this era, the yellow paint job really stands out!

There are some other vehicles I wish to order when the time comes.

Cheers

Tim

That's definitely a 4-door Maverick in the photo.

I'm sorry Dave, I'm afraid I can't do that.

Sorry, the cost of making a 4 door version would be too high.

There is a 4 door Maverick available on Shapeways, although some of the details are a little crude.

How do we go about getting some of your models? I model mid to late 70's so I see several that I'll need at some point.

To order, just send me a PM with the quantities of each model you are interested in.  I can then be sure to have them all in stock before you send me any payment.

I see you have some a couple of AMC's. Have you considered doing the iconic Gremlin? Maybe an early one 70-73? I'd be good for a few at least. Surely there are more people who would need one, or a few. I was still seeing them into the early 90's, and of course, I see this one every morning!

I do plan on making a Gremlin, the model I have is a '74 with the large front bumper.  I'll have to see if there was ever a '73 version offered- it is certainly better looking.

Brian,
You should consider marketing bulk packs of same year models, perhaps with less refined details if that helps keep the cost down, or maybe slightly flawed prints, grouped by manufacturer for the purpose of loading open frame auto racks...  Just a thought.  12 cars at a bulk price.

Imagine a rack full of those Gremlins!

Haha, I'll have to get one despite being out of modeling timeline.  A V-8 Gremlin X is a fun car to drive!

Also on my list of cars to build in N scale just because, 1985-87 Dodge Shelby Charger and first gen Mitsubishi Eclipse.  I've made a pretty good dent on the local street racing scene Circa 2001 otherwise:
