I'm putting this decoder in a Kato SD40-2.
I knew there were no additional lighting functions when I bought it, but was hoping to use the rear light function for ditch lights. I've loaded it into decoder pro and the only light functions are normal, off-dim-bright, and rule 17. No option to remove directionality and the functions remap tab is empty.
There is however a tab with option enabled to have the ditch lights flash when the horn honks. Funny.
Anyway this is not a front line loco. I can just wire my ditch lights to the head light. But am I doing this right? I really can't just activate the lights individually with a function button?
