Anybody know what's going on with him? The website seems to be down.

Interesting . . .
David last visited here on September 05, 2016, 12:29:32 AM. The webpage shows that it has expired. Few weeks ago my NTRAK club send David invitation to be a guest speaker for the Winterfest dinner at the next Springfield show and AFAIK he has not responded yet.

I sure hope that David is ok and that he continues making all those wonderful kits.  I think  that @bbussey , @VonRyan or few other TRW members might know David personally - maybe they know what is going on.

Not sure what happened to the chap.
From what I can recall he and I had only briefly talked in person at a show a couple years ago.

Dave and I play racquetball at the same club on Tuesday/Thursday nights but he's usually wrapping up by the time I arrive.  If I don't see him tomorrow night, I'll shoot him a text and see what's up.

Dave is taking a break for a while from the business.  He said there's a chance it might end up being permanent.  But for now, it's just a respite.

Just like when I first got into N Scale, some 35 years ago, if you saw something you wanted, you'd better get it because it may not be available if you wait.

Or even something you THINK you wanted ... if you eventually don't use it, you can bet somebody somewhere is looking for the OOP item.

Back to finding someone else to make a triple decker.
There's a shyness found in reason
Apprehensive influence swallow away
You seem to feel abysmal take it
Then you're careful grace for sure
Kinda like the way you're breathing
Kinda like the way you keep looking away
