Seriously, I don't know why Cory chose BN 9277 but since the unit is the same as BNSF 9277, they wouldn't exist at the same time.

Also, BNSF 9277 was done quite some time ago, and it may never have crossed his mind to check to see if the number was the same.

I mean if we're gonna bitch about companies doing BN locos, lets bitch about Kato and the first run of mid production SD40-2s, 6770 and 6772, both units in whiteface, 1 number separating them, oh and off the roster by June 1992. And the whiteface didn't appear until 1989, so there is about a 2-3 year span that these units are good for. And its not like BN didn't have 835+ SD40-2s.
