SP bloody nose paint scheme

Quick question,

I am ready to paint an N scale SD-9 in the grey / red scheme. I have Tru-Color SP Lark Dark Grey and also SP Lark Light Grey. I have never painted with the TC paint but I am leaning towards the dark grey. Is it too dark and light would be look better ? My red is the TC SP Scarlet whwich should be right.

Thanks for any input,

Carl
