Peter: No, the Z scalers won't have to convert anything. The existing wheels run fine on code 40, included ME code 40 with a third rail added, and I tested them on "code 32", brass strip soldered to PC ties. They'll even run in spiked code 40 if the spikes are angled and driven just right.

Start of a kitbash. The flat is Alan Curtis/ED Models, the plane is a plastic kit (I think it was a 1/200 737, so at 1:220 it scaled out to a 777 or something... can't find my notes now). Still need to do the clearance rack, and get a cover on the partner 60' flat.
Well, I'm a bit bummed for a few reasons:1. This would have been a great time to offer C40 N scale track products along with C40 Z scale so they can share rail sections.2. Z scale track announcements but we still don't have C55 in Concrete ties, #12/14 (or larger) switches, single and double slips, or double crossover.
