Some projects I've been working on...
First up is this 44 tonner that I fist removed the decoder, and then added 29, 1/8 in. tungsten cubes to. I will say the project was worth it, it can now pull as many cars as my layout can hold on one track! It also improved the contact with the rails, which was the main goal..
Next up is this MEC caboose , which still needs weathering. A shapeways body on a MT chassis. I can see a few things that need addressing, such as the short ladder tops and a cupola roof corner. That's why I like showing these pics with you folks, they show all the flaws!
Here is a couple of early CR units I finished up..All black locos are not easy to photograph well!
I also finished up this RS-3 in B&M blue: ..This is the only early model RS3 that got the blue dip paint, other than 2 acquired from the D&H, which could not operate with other B&M diesels due to a MU connection issue.
And last up is this group shot of my remaining loco projects. This summer has been very hot and humid, so finding a good time to paint has been challenging, but I'm moving along...In the next day or 2 I will upload some pics of layout progress!(10 upload per day limit ya know
