Is that a particular unit with the white cab front?

Jason

Holy crap Jason your right. Looks like I made more work for myself. Not sure why I thought the cab front was white, I've got lots of photos and color guides here in front of me. So use to painting maroon and yellow units I guess I assumed Bankrupt Blue was the same. Thanks for catching that before I was farther along. I owe ya!!
The photo of the loco I've been doing is a straight on side shot so I never noticed it.

When it comes to the RI I know to ask first when it comes to paint.  :)   I actually expected you to have a unit that was like that.

I still baffles me that Atlas has never done the as-delivered, maroon, or maroon/yellow schemes on their (non-TT) GP7s.  :?

So Atlas has never done either of these two schemes on their GP-7's? 1269 may be my next project. I've got a crappy slide of it I took at Blue Island crossing back in 1976 and always thought that winged scheme was sharp.

So, you get up; fire up the Harley and go for some open road, fresh air and some rail fanning at your favourite spot when all of the sudden the first consist you see has a boxcar with a dragger and soon comes to a grinding halt right in front of you; effectively ending the day of rail fanning at your best spot because the mains will be blocked for several hours while they get this wounded sister back on her pegs..... sigh.... what else can go wrong, are the Leafs playing the Habs tonight or something.....

Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Love the layout! And where do you find N Scale Harleys?  Want to have a dealership in a town and haven't found much in the way of cruiser style motorcycles, or much of anything in motorcycles.  Some with riders would be OK but as a dealership, need most without rider.

That is an awesome scene Puddy!  I love the colors on the back of the biker's leather jacket!

I know that Woodland Scenics sells a group of bikers on rather poorly done choppers. Is that one of the figures which came with the set? Maybe on Showcase Miniature's very nice pewter Harley?

Yep and nope.... "Yep"; it's the Showcase Miniatures Harley and "nope", not a Woodland Scenics; it's a old unpainted (well; Puddy-painted) Preiner figure of a guy sitting. I "reposed" him, shaved down his... um... ah..... "sitting place" and painted him as a biker with "colours". It is a neat little scene eh...?

Very nice - who makes those cars? They look a lot like a CPR Mini box, albeit maybe too long - how long are they?

Nice work kind sir!
