Passenger Stepping boxes from CNPM

The first detail part I would like to share with everyone under my new shop "CanadiaN Prototype Models" is a set of passenger stepping boxes:

They are printed in FXD, but because of their small size and minimum print area requirements, I had to make a sprue with ten of them together. They can be purchased on shapeways here: http://shpws.me/LrmL

Thanks to @Puddington for the idea!

Kind regard,
Fredrick

I have to admit to being pleasantly surprised at the print quality when these came in the mail. An overnight soak in bestine and a quick coat of paint (with a brush no less!) was all the work that was required. To make things a bit easier, I used double sided tape on my work bench to fasten the parts down while painting.

Because why not...

Thanks for the kind words. Admittedly these are "generic details" that should be useful for most passenger station scenes, but they were drawn from a CN prototype  :D

Wow! Those ARE nice!
I've seen them used with a PRR Business car.
