Got this off the STMFC Yahoo group.

ScaleTrains.com

I'm not sure if we can talk about it since it doesn't exist yet.  :P

I think I had heard of these guys before.

It's always good to have another source of stuff!

They have a full page ad in the December MR. They plan to make their first announcement at Trainfest in Milwaukee bendy month.

Trying to get me to sign up to an e-mail newsletter with a pop-up on their website is not a good start.

I know one of the principal owners and I can tell you that these guys will bring some very innovative and we'll received products to the market - they have a good ownership group of experienced industry people and I'm excited to see what they announce.
Model railroading isn't saving my life, but it's providing me moments of joy not normally associated with my current situation..... Train are good!

Yeah, that happened to me too. It might be my unsupported version of Firefox (8 years old), but I can't close the pop-up and thus can't access the rest of the web page.

Hmm... that's another
web site Kiz'll never visit
again...

Two scientists create a teleportation ray, and they try it out on a cricket. They put the cricket on one of the two teleportation pads in the room, and they turn the ray on.
The cricket jumps across the room onto the other pad.
"It works! It works!"

I was able to hit the X and get rid of it, but it popped up 4 more times as I visited the various pages of the site.

There is no "X" for me to click. I hope December gets here soon, 'cuz that's when I buy a new computer with up-to-date software that works properly.

Hmm... Kiz hasn't worked
properly for years...

Your old computer is just fine.  No home page should have sound, popups, animations, video, or auto-changing background images.   None of that junk adds value for the user.   I saw the page.  They might make good products sometime,
but I will not use that page.   There is just no excuse for making a simple home page so bothersome.

Knowing their history, it could be good.

Or we could be getting re-runs of F59s........

Maybe this is why Intermountain keeps pushing back release of SD40-2's and basically cancelled a lot of F units :)

Unfortunately their blog indicates they won't have N Scale samples in time for Milwaukee.

I have hopes for this place, but then I'm a hopeful kinda guy.

Remember how Craig Martyn started...

And they can't be ALL bad, they're from Tennessee.
