So you just placed four parts near each other in space as though they were one part?  How do they keep from misplacing parts?

When I bought the Scenicruiser bus on Shapeways (as a single item) from Bryan B., it consisted of multiple non-connected parts (8 parts total).  They packaged each part in a small ziplock baggie.  Each baggie had a label with the order number and few other details.  That way they don't misplace anything.

this is the machine I patterned it after.

Thanks for that picture of one in the wild. I was hoping you had a picture of one on a layout. Thanks

@towl1996 Not yet sorry.

Since no one has purchased any yet, I am going to make two changes:

1) I am going to cluster 10 left and 10 right together as a single model, as @wcfn100 suggests to reduce the overall cost/switch machine (I will still be pursuing a casting partner).

2) I have made a slight design change that allows each switch to be positioned on a DPDT handle in any of three positions.  This will allow for various DPDT switch locations relative to the turnout, thanks for the idea @glakedylan

Can you please explain how the wire is connected? Why do you need it?

I've looked at the diagram, but I just can't see how it works.

@Ngineer , the wire is a W shape one Ned goes into a hole drilled in the switch handle and one end goes into a hole drilled in the middle of the throw bar near its end on an atlas code 55 turnout.

Here are my first switch machine models as delivered to me.  I have not yet soaked them because I think the parts are more photogenic before soak. The machine is shown on the micro slide switch in the center position. It can be mounted in two additional spots as well.

Here is the matching air valve and you can see the three locating pockets for the micro switch handle:

@Lemosteam , I was reading TKM and came across some items that would go with the switch machine and air box. It's a compressor cabinet, tank and mounts for the air lines. Here's the issue, http://www.prrths.com/Keystone%20Modeler/Keystone_Modeler_PDFs/TKM%20No.%2083%20-%20Winter%202013.pdf. There are prototype and model pictures, as well as dimensions within the article.
