Looking real good Tom.   The one thing to my eye is the blue 'scribble' tag stands out rather bold, like from a gel pen.  Is there a way to tone that down, maybe with some light powder, and/or dab off some of it with IPA or micro-sol on a cosmetic sponge.

BTW are those the Kadee wheelsets?  the profile looks really nice.

To get some of the rough looking streaks, I mixed some Panzer and Regular Grey Vallejo paints with 70% Alcohol.  They don't mix well, and the paint takes on a cottage cheese type feel.

Clever.  Better living through chemistry.

Making a "bad" paint mix on purpose! How about the rest of us, having problems doing a good mix?

BTW @ednadolski , these are the standard wheels that come with Athearn Ready to Roll cars.  Really nice considering the car was <$13.
