Thanks, appreciated, I know, but it's way to "loosely" based of the Hollywood car for my taste, it's more like a cartoon

I  honestly thought about buying a pair, but couldn't. I decided to look for a real Hollywood Car model instead of the caricature.

I am getting closer to having Pacific Electric Express Motor 1445 in revenue. Just like 1124, she needs windows, lights and poles.

Unfortunately, there are no accurately spaced freight motor decals, so I used passenger car lettering.

Please do let us know if you find a decent model...in the same boat as you.

I was able to get a Miniatures by Eric shell for a Portland Twelve and a Hollywood Car. Now, I need to pick up a pair of Tomix chassis.

I can't do LA without a Hollywood car... Otoo K.

I could not find any still available in N Scale - but the North Shore is very well covered by my UK based friend Sandy. https://www.shapeways.com/shops/boxcarmodels

It was high time that I did my own work here in lockdown in the UK and not able to get into the N Scale Kits plant very often.... so four west coast interurbans designed and now on Shapeways - three Pacific Electric cars: Class 340 'Cootie' Birney Safety class cars, 450 car and the Class 800 'Hollywood' cars plus the Key System Bay Articulated cars https://www.shapeways.com/shops/nscalekits. They are for me really...but are available to others. I have yet to get the print so these are beta versions.

If anyone can make suggestions please get back to me.

Best wishes and keep safe

Hi Peter,

Speaking of the North Shore....I think a few flatcars are in my future.

With the madness going on in the world right now there is a problem getting the tomix drives. Japan post is shut down leaving them to rely on DHL. It could take months to get anything out of Japan and the pries are ungodly.
