Kato is making a K4...

Yes!!, I knew it. And if it's written on an internet forum it must be true, even if it's taken out of context. SPF's spread the word!  :D

I believe someone said that they mentioned an SDP45 at the manufacturer's breakfast.
I wonder if this means a late 60's Sunset Limited??

I read it as:   re-release of older models

+   (1) entirely new model - modern or vintage

If it's an SDP45 that would be awesome EL and Conrail  8)

Ditto, I interpreted older to mean a previously released Kato model with new tooling. Why not their GP38-2, seeing we don't have enough of those around

I communicated with Leon a couple months back explaining how one new roof could yield two new F3 models so I'll be hoping for that.  Even so, I'd be even more excited about a Phase IV NW-2.

N scale GP-35 like Kato's HO MoPac and Santa Fe offerings!  More paint schemes for the announced F-7A single headlight units would be nice, such as MoPac (simple all Jenks blue version).  Why not do an F-7 dual headlight in SP bloody nose gray (was done in the past by Kato)?

...

That was the rumor I heard. You know how Kato loves its passenger engines, only this one is cool and can work freight drags!

I would bust for a SDP45 if they do both versions. I'd even go for a SDP40.

I don't really need either locomotive I just WANT! them. :D

I'm also thinking GP50 could be on the list. They have not redone these since the first release many years ago. I would like to see a GP40X. I know SF only had 10 but!
