Kato Santa Fe 'bluebonnet' B units?

a question that, hopefully, someone here can help me with...
apart from the F7A units in the freight car sets...have the ATSF Bluebonnet Kato F units EVER been available separately (I'm not referring to the very recent announcement) and have there EVER been bluebonnet 'B' units produced by Kato?

Well, since the Blue Bonnet paint has only been released in the starter sets (as stated in the ad), and the starter sets don't have B units, I think you have your answers.

Jason...
I had assumed the same until a fellow on another forum insisted that he has a couple of B units from Kato in Bluebonnet...with pictures...my supposition is that they were custom painted...he insists that he called 'Kato' and they told him that some were released in very limited numbers...I'm not buying it without hard evidence, hence my question.
the actual Kato ad states, nowhere, that the Blubonnet A unit was only available in the set (although that has been my supposition all along)
The Fifer Hobby announcement is the one that states what I have always believed, that the Bluebonnet F7A was ONLY released in the Freight sets (as it's being done again currently), similar to the very nice C&O units....and that there were no releases of the 'B' units in the bluebonnet scheme.
I was hoping that someone had actual knowledge and  evidence either way...

Okay maybe the ad doesn't but the E-Mail does.

Quote from: Kato's E-Mail
The Blue Bonnet locomotives were previously only available in our F7 Freight Starter Set

Is the confusion that he actually has "yellow-bonnet" b units and not "blue-bonnet"?  Kato did the yellow ones in conjunction with the Amtrak El Capitan. So if he knows they aren't red, that might be all it is?

no...I thought that might be the case as well...that this fellow didn't know the difference...he states that 'yes', that they are bluebonnet 'B' units...(he posts a very fuzzy picture on FB), that they say 'Kato' on the bottom of the fuel tank...and that he called Kato (after I told him that the bluebonnet A unit has never been released apart from the freight set, and that Kato never released a bluebonnet B unit), and says that the Kato rep told him that yes, Kato did release a very limited number of A and B units in the bluebonnet scheme (I'm hesitant to believe him-this person has proven to be less than truthful before, but believes he is 'all knowing' about N scale )

again, can anyone here verify that these units were released by Kato?...or never? (as I believe?)
