They easily tilt forward.  No forcing required.

Mine doesn't.  Or I wouldn't have asked.  Hope it didn't get some glue in the wrong place.

I just received the Optimus Prime rig today in the mail.  I was hesitant to pull the trigger with the price where it was, but I am very happy I did.  Amazing attention to detail.  Can't wait to see future releases, especially if/when tractors are released as separate items.

For the record, I finally got the hood to open on mine.   It was a little bit of paint stickage, I think.     Nice to see the engine!

There's a couple of these on eBay now for over $100.

Hmmm... Micro-Trains cars are no longer the sole high-priced collectable in N scale.   :) Actually, the level of details and the quality of decoration on these trucks are of higher level than on Micro-Trains items.

Here's a Clerihew about Ed. K.

Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
But mention his law
and you've pulled your last straw!

Alternate version:
Ed Kapucinski
Every night, he plants a new tree.
He asks excitedly "Did you say Ménage à Trois?"
No, I said "Ed's Law."

This guy has to be a nut case. :?

A quite common occurrence on eBay.  If they only brought back their fee system where you had to pay insertion fee and a starting price fee, suddenly many of those nutcases would disappear!  As things are, eBay is an enabler for this kind of nutty auction listings.

To each their own!!  Sometimes we all get out of hand pointing fingers and saying things that should not be said.

Like for example,,, all eastern RR's bite,,, as far as I am concerned.

So he chose to split them up,, BIG FRIGGING DEAL!!!!

Heh...this is controversial and it appears we already have divided opinions. That's ok, THIS IS AMERICA! To me, this is gouging and scalping. It sucks because these are on the rare side and this guy appears to be squeezing every out every drop of profit by splitting these up. Sure, there COULD BE an incident where someone had a damaged truck or trailer and wants to only replace that part, but I don't think that's what's going on here. Why else would someone want half of Optimus Prime?
BUT CAPITALISM, YOU SAY. Ok...maybe, but that doesn't make it right.  Just because it's capitalism doesn't make okay. This reminds me of the microtransaction business model that is running rampant in video games currently so this obviously struck a nerve with me, IMHO and YMMV.

I'm not pointing fingers. The problem with these totally outrageous eBay listings is that the seem to proliferate eBay and pollute the real listings.  What I mean is that these ridiculous  listings will be re-listed for months and months at a time while the seller is hoping for an idiot with more money than brains to actually come along and buy them. All these listings do is to increase the signal to noise ratio when I am actually looking for some reasonable deals.

Those unreasonable listings do affect my eBay experience in a negative way.  Say what you want (free country andfree speach, blah, blah, blah) but that is why I don't care for them. So stuff it!

I guess you guys did not see the guy that was selling all the sets for 125$ buy now!!!!

Yes ebay has gotten to be a joke,,, like the people that are selling the readers digest collectors junk for more than .01 $ or what about the double or even triple listings?

YMMV,,oh well it is what it is.

How bout a nice thread about the IMRC -2's......
