Okay, who wants to split a six pack of the Mopac buzzsaw hoppers with me? I only need two or three but can't find a dealer willing to split the pack.

Bump...
So today I finally received my long sought-after ARA Mopac hoppers, "had to" buy a six pack as I couldn't find a dealer willing to split a pack. Unlike some other cars in captive service, these roamed far and wide, even to the west coast (well, to Kaiser Steel in Fontana, California which is as close as one could get to the coast without fear of being shelled by the Japanese Navy during WWII). But I digress...

Bryan's  earlier review is pretty much right on; only thing I'd add is their weight: 22grams/.7oz, without the coal load, which means I can *probably* run them empty uphill without the fear of stringlining...
The other thing I like is they ride nice and low...see pics below...the one on the right is the very nice Bluford 70 ton 3-bay hopper for comparison purposes...
