Its a week away and I couldn't be happier.  This is the best train show in western North Carolina and it gets better every year.  Among the layouts often featured is one by some N.C. Ntrak modelers and is often large and the best!!![  All proceeds from the show benefit the museum and restoration efforts of the Alexander Chapter- National Railway Historical Society, which includes the Southeastern Narrow Gauge & Shortline Museum, which is working hard to rebuild narrow gauge cars from the past.

And, yes... there are a few really good N-scale dealers that are regulars at the show.  Do please come out!!!

Jerry,

I planning on being there.   Hope the vendors bring lots of Rock Island, Santa Fe, and Wabash goodies.  I know we're in the South but I'm willing to help the dealers out with this.  I just hope I can get out of work so I can be there when the doors open rather than 1:30PM.   If anyone going needs an 80" by 30" hollow core door let me know,  the price will be right!  Just bring your own rope or bungee cords.   I really need a Kato Super Chief Observation and a couple Life Like E6B/E7B (ATSF and undecorated) units.     I've got a whole list of stuff I'd like too.

Regards,
Bob

KenRay Models will be there. It's the first time for us at that show. We'd hoped to have a lot of new prototypes out, but due to the 3D printer we'd invested in not working out, we won't be able to right now. We're still on the hunt for a 3D printer that will meet our requirements and have a good lead on one. There will be some new things on the table for those who are familiar with us. Stop by the table and say hello. We're always glad to meet new folks and talk model railroading.
