I took these pictures over the weekend:
...

Thanks for posting those, Cody. Puts me back on the fence about ordering the UP pair, as they look nice. Still a lot of money for a semi-foob, but it would make for a great "alternate reality" scene. Even better if somebody comes along with an AS-616 that could conceivably m.u. with them.

Very nice looking! Just went over to the BLI site. I see they've slipped to June and the M1 has slipped to August.

Thanks Rod! (and Adam and Gordon). Still a work in progress.
Here's one more, with a mail train. Rod, the black thing up front is a steam engine :D

Late to the show, as usual for me, over the last week, styrene becomes brass, and the concept works, onward with the class c. next up will be the pistons and valve gear.

on the non train front I picked up the transmission for my engine swap in my little e30 BMW. I'm shoehorning an m60 v8 into it muahahaha.

Technically I did these over my weekend... Last Tuesday and Wednesday but yea....
I added BLMA MU Hoses to my Athearn Santa Fe SD75Ms, so here is the only one (out of five) that I went ahead and added hoses to the rear too, ATSF #226.

This was painful, not only did I have to trim the molded in MU hoses I had to cut out a molded grab that they rest behind, and drill, bend and glue a new one in its place... Yea the rest are just going to be painted I think...

Here is all Five together, yes there is not Six.. One is a GP60M that snuck its way in the shot... Sneaky geep...

Thanks for looking!

First let me say, as a person who grew up around west coast logging with pretty much all of the previous two generations being in one form of forestry or another, I can't wait to see where you go with this loco.

Second, what is that sweet passenger train hiding back there and can we see more of that somewhere?

Thanks.

Is all that extra work really worth it compared to a S50/S52?

Considering s50/s52s are getting hard to find around here let alone for a good price.....also, I got my m60b40 for $180, and because v8. Yeah, it's worth it. Lol

Late posting, wrapped up decaling this guy shortly before a three day weekend. Have to re-secure the etched walkways. With all the refrigerators out there someone has to get the piggies to market! CC: @Ed Kapuscinski

Great job, S.!  Your stock car is sweet.  One suggestion, if the running board continues to give you trouble, would be to remove it, if that fits your era.

Oh man Tim. That's perfect on so many levels.

Are you coming to the RBQ this year? If so, you must bring that.
