Philip,

Nils, as I,  just prints them. Here's a close up (Devil's Mountain is one of the group's two return loops).  I tend to use Matte Premium Photo paper, not sure if he did that, or used a decal/label stock and then mount on sheet styrene. His storefronts are decal stock.

Nils also hand made each of the light standards. They are 0402 LEDs.

Awesome stuff as always!  Were you able to grab any video with the new lens?

Yes yes, I was actually referring to the source of the prints for the signs.

My DSLR does not do video. But, I did take some with my phone. Will take a couple days to put together

I made the signs in Photoshop. Download the  font called American Highway Gothic. It is the standard font on road signs. One reason I like photoshop is you can define your workspace in real world dimensions with great accuracy.

Another very useful resource when making your own highway signs (or pavement markings) is the FHWA "Standard Highway Signs" book, available for free at http://mutcd.fhwa.dot.gov/ser-shs_millennium.htm  There are also a number of pre-created full-scale highway signs in PDF and EPS format at that link.

My video from the show.  This is the first time I've taken video using my new Galaxy S5, so zoom and focus a bit rough in spots.
