Kato has it on display at Trainfest and the local High Wheeler show every year.  I find it too by plenty loud even during train show.  I think it'd be perfect for your needs, Dave.

So this happened today.  Finally got sick enough of those Woodland Scenics risers to do something about it.  Lots of hand-carving of a plaster/Sculptamold mix to match the handful of rubber rocks.

Looking pretty Furlowish minus the whimsy.  Good job.

So you're saying I need some dangerously swaybacked rolling stock and drybrushing so thick it looks like whitewash?   :D

It needs a lot more vegetation including static grass, aspen trees, and properly "flocked" pines (don't worry @wm3798 !).  But it's finally starting to look like something.  Does that mean I have my mojo back?  I hope so!

EDIT:  I should mention that all of the rock seen here is carved from a mix of plaster, latex paint, and Sculptamold.

So I could Furlow that up by putting a dude with a handlebar mustache and a sombrero on the pilot of #50...

Your rocks look fantastic, the colors very realistic.  Keep up the great work.

More scenery...

Even in autumn, Colorado is greener than many typical narrow gauge layouts suggest...  Score big for the static grass applicator!

Started roughing in the terrain behind Aspen.  The far right corner where the mine structures are will be a significant mountain with tunnels.

Excellent! That was going to be my only criticism.

It's good to see you back in the saddle.

Your mojo is making the grass stand on end. That is unless you're generating static by rubbing the hot balls together.

Looking good,.

I may re-attack..  It's now looking too green.  Was driving around town today and noticed how brown the grasses are if they've not had rain for a while.
