Just read that the MT diners are listed for release in Nov.  PRR and AT&SF first release.  There goes more of my money.

So do these diners follow any type of standard Pullman plan?  Trying to figure out if Erie had anything even close, all theirs came from Pullman.

Road number is 4400, so good for 1946 thru 1959!  :D
There is another thread regarding the diner somewhere on the 'Wire. This diner was identified as class D78, built at Altoona, so Pennsy all the way...

The Erie must have had something close?

No.  They are cased on PRR's "D78C"-class diner.

Hands down, if a car was modernized with sealed thermapane windows were applied, irregardless of what was done with the roof (some retaining their clerestory roof), the car received four-wheel passenger car trucks like those used under lightweight cars while the few that remained unrebuilt retained the six-wheel trucks.

I am about two weeks out from having a new Update finished and posted for the Passenger Car Photo Index with a huge number of new links (523 so far) being added for RR, thanks to the PRR Collection that has been posted to the Hagley Digital Collection, with a number of both styles of dining cars represented.
