It comes with them. Reese's model has them installed.  Mine to but not pictured.

To me the colors look good to me, but I'm not a hardcore BCOL modeler. I ended up using Poly Scale DTI red and BAR blue. I used those since thats what the LHS here had.

In the absence of TrueLine Trains BC Rail Red and BC Rail Blue paints or other colour references (e.g. good colour photos), the Pantone Matching System inks for the BC Rail corporate colours are:  BC Rail Red = Pantone 032C and BC Rail Blue = Pantone 072C.  Any local print shop should be able to provide you with samples of those colours that you could use to compare with available model paints.

If no print shop is handy, try the following computer generated equivalents (according to CorelDRAW):

Pantone 032C =  0, 60, 90, 0 (CMYK) = 237, 46, 56 (RGB)
Pantone 072C =  100, 85, 0, 4 (CMYK) = 41, 5, 161 (RGB)

There will be some variation introduced by different monitors and printers unless they have been carefully calibrated but these colours should put you "in the ballpark" at least.

For samples of original BC Rail paint and TLT paints scanned simultaneously, the following average RGB values were returned by analysis with Corel Photo-Paint:

BCR Red  189, 36, 3 ; TLT  192, 49, 16
BCR Blue  12, 28, 70; TLT   6, 25, 71

The actual colours are visually a much closer match than a straight comparison of the RGB values would suggest.

I'm looking forward to watching yours progress.  It looks awesome so far.  My modelling is all on hold until the spring so I won't finish my two any time soon.
