Maybe you can find it in a larger scale and "Hydroshrink" it. Then cast it in resin. Right Jason? Or find someone to do this for you.
Folks,For my NP W-5, I need a somewhat unusual Elesco feedwater pump. Note, this is the pump I am talking about, not the cylindrical heater that sits above the smokebox front. This is the pump that goes along the side of the engine. Here is a close-up of a brass HO version:Anybody know of an N Scale shell that has one of these? There are no parts from Detail Associates, GHQ,or Miniatures by Eric that look like this (at least none that I have ever found). Before I start snipping and soldering and scratchbuilding this thing, I wanted to see if anyone knew ofa commercial casting or a shell I can steal one off of.Thanks
The only Elesco pump I know of is the one produced by GHQ for their Southern Railway Ms4 Mike conversion. The parts can be seen in the forum thread linked to below...http://www.ghqmodels.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3301The entire conversion,as well as individual parts, can be purchased from Republic Locomotive Works.
