"Hurricane" Rotating Roof Vent Details

I've been doing some searching, but couldn't really find anything.

Anyone know of any *good* detail parts for this type of *round* spiral rotating roof ventilator?



I need some for an MOW car project I'm working on; this tool/storage boxcar has a pair of them on the roof line:

I did find the Model Tech Studios one; it looks decent but doesn't have the spiral effect going on. The motorized actually rotating feature is a bit over the top for what I need as well, and seems like an unnecessary expense.

Maybe I'll try the cutting and filing of a spiral cutting bit.

Not to pic nits but your vents are rotating the wrong direction - the concave side of the vent always catches the wind.

Yes, I realize that. When it was installed on another layout, the polarity got swapped.
