Okay... this sat on the back shelf while I dealt with some life issues and scratching my head over this whole thing. here is the newest plan for review by the almighty asshats.

basically same req's as before, 18x10 space, solo operator, DC, mix of roundy-round capability as well as switching ops.

some LDEs I want:
 bridge/river scene,
mountain/aerial tram scene,
a yard capable of handling the local switching duties/making trains to send to staging/off layout as well as working the local industries.
a passenger station to handle 1 amtrak/ 1 commuter service.
staging (3 loops on each end, should be able to handle 5 trains [considering my commuter will be 2 or 3 mu'ed RDCs, 4 car amfleet consists, thru freight SONO and NOSO as well as the local])
A few different size industies (paper mill, car repair shop, brewery, transfer, lumber yard)
an LRV loop/semi urban/city area. - This is made to sit as 3 layers, the lowest being the staging yard (accessible from inside the loops), then the LRV level, and finally a removable bit covering the return loop of the LRV.

Well looking at this plan seems to make more sense to me. I am trying to come up with mock operating schemes/timeframes or concepts to make the operation aspect more clear and to make sure this track plan is as good as I can reasonably draft it.

Any suggestions? I consider this a single main track plan, with the second main acting as a north/south yard lead (but also able to double as part of a complete circuit for dummy mode railfanning).

Kind regards
