Talking here about old and new version lettering, covering 40's-50's, stripes for the RBs (not 50'), car data including for rebuilt wood side cars, etc. Not many FGE prototypes are available in N, but want to see how many people would find such a decal set useful.

There's always interest for it, especially from New England modelers.

Sirenwerks -- you should look at MicroScale set 60-238 for FGE mech reefer decals. But those 80000-81000 series RBs are what I'm interested in, and the ones with the "RB/DF" markings on the side (not shown). WFE and BREX variations are possible -- tho not sure about the red CB&Q rectangle. Anything black, like the GN goat logo, is definitely in the mix.

"especially from New England modelers..."

Yes... but the question is, how many New England modelers are there?  Adding WFE and BREX lettering would widen the number of interested parties, I guess.

It's really eastern U.S. modelers.  FGE's fleet was second in size behind PFE's and as dominant in the east as PFE was in the west.

Well, I'm in then.  4 or 5 sets will do me.

Welp, I need a bunch of late 40's FGEX and related decals.  I've got a bunch of cars I'd like to repaint, but don't have any decals for them.

I'd be interested if the decals came with the proper cars.  ;)

This would be a good one to start with.

According to Mr. Bussey, the IM wood reefer is an exact match for the FGE cars. What is the status as to prototype cars available for BREX, WFE, NCX and various other FGE types ? Anybody?

there are at least 2 good articles on the FGE Organization in RP CYCs.
any car in the "Our Companies" organization could be used any where
that cars were needed.so a BREX car in Florida,or a WFE car on New Haven
  isn't that odd.
the Intermountain PFE R-40-23 is a good stand in for FGE/WFE steel cars
  built about 1948-1952.
after 52 FGE started using Plug Doors on the new and sometimes rebuilt cars.
the Wood cars lasted after the end of Ice servicing, but mainly as Storage cars
at FGE Warehouses, or customer facilities.
the Accu-Rail FGE Steel HO cars should be copied in N.

The InterMountain car would be appropriate for BREX and WFE as well.

It isn't odd that any of the FGE, BREX and WFE could travel to wherever they were needed by the member roads, as they were all part of the same pool.  The ice-cooled wood cars were used regularly well into the 1970s in revenue service, not just for storage.

According to Mr. Bussey, the IM wood reefer is an exact match for the FGE cars.

'Exact' is a bit strong, but I did forget that the IM car had a metal roof.  Hopefully IM will release the kit.  A new running board and possibly new hatches will finish off the roof.  One bit of weirdness is where the ends meet the roof.  It's inset from the ends instead of having an overhang which is part of the look of the car.

The model sits too high off the rails and needs to be lowered.  But it is a model of the FGE prototype.  Any other design deviations are easily corrected.

Yes... but the question is, how many New England modelers are there?

Must be a good amount. Seeing how Bryan makes most of his money off New England roads.

And for here the majority are Northeast/New England modelers. Occasionally we let WM, UP and our Canadian friends play.

I WANNA SEE THE BOAT MOVIE!

Yes... I'm in N... Also HO and 1:1
